3. Authorized Agent Role
By enrolling, you authorize BlueGuard to act as your authorized agent for the limited purpose of accessing water utility usage and meter data to provide leak detection, monitoring, alerts, and loss-prevention services.
This authorization:
- Is purpose-limited
- Is revocable at any time
- Does not transfer ownership of your utility account or data
4. How We Use Information
We use information solely to:
- Monitor water usage for abnormal patterns or potential leaks
- Generate alerts and notifications
- Coordinate eligible repair services
- Support loss prevention, claims mitigation, and conservation
BlueGuard does not sell consumer utility data.

- Service providers performing services on our behalf
- Licensed plumbing contractors when dispatching eligible repairs
- Insurance carriers or program sponsors, where applicable

6. Data Ownership

BlueGuard receives a limited, revocable license to use such data solely to provide the Services.
